Western Reflections

Western Reflections Publishing Company publishes books about Colorado. We are currently not accepting fiction or poetry.

Please send a hard copy (printed out of your computer and double spaced) of the book. Do not send it on disk, although we do require those books we choose to publish to be submitted in their final form on disk (IBM or Mac format). If your book is not complete, we will look at what you have and let you know if it seems to be appropriate for us, but we make no final decisions on any project until we have read the entire book. Please do not design the book on your computer as we will have a graphic designer design any books that we select. Generally we have a backlog of potential books to read, so it could take anywhere from two to six months before we can give you an answer.

If your book is selected to be published by Western Reflections Publishing Co., it takes a minimum of six months to do the editing, designing of the cover, layout, printing, shipping, and more. Since we generally have several books already designated to be published, this time period can be from one to one-and-one-half years.

Western Reflections Publishing Co. publishes books twice a year -- springtime (to be in the bookstores for summer), and fall (to be in the bookstores for Christmas/winter).

Although we take great care in the handling of manuscripts that are sent to us, we cannot guarantee their return. Please keep a copy for yourself.

You already have the copyright to your book. Western Reflections Publishing Company will honor that copyright. If your book is accepted, we will register your copyright in your name and your book will be published through an agreement with us.
